before pride month ends I wanted to share my attempt at some pride art of my ocs, they are sketches from the beginning of the month that I have not been able to line or do anything else with but even tho I don't feel as good about them as before I still wanted to share them because pride and also I love them <3

I realize it's been quite awhile since I've posted about and elaborated information on my MFB OCs. Well, I felt like sharing them today so I'm here to introduce the members of Team Mythical Beasts, the representative team for South Korea (at least, for the Asia Beyblade Championships that occured prior to the World Championships.)

Each member of Team Mythical Beasts represents a different mythological creature in South Korean culture, which I'll talk a bit about in each character's description.

First off is Baek Yeong-Suk, better known as her nickname of "Baekho" or "The White Tiger". You can probably take a guess on what animal she is based on. The hot-headed athlete of the group, she is also a well-known Taekwondo sparring champion who has decided to also make a name for herself in the blading scene. She has a strong dislike towards the Chinese representative team, Team Celestial, with He Li Hua being the center of her disrespect.

Second is Cheon Ha-Yun, a powerful blader who easily conquered hundreds of tournaments within South Korea without a problem. Ha-Yun is quiet and observant, not being the most fond of the limelight compared to her fellow members. She excels at academics, but it seems her main passion is Beyblade. Out of the team, Ha-Yun is the strongest blader due to her vast experience and skill. She is based on the three-legged crow.

Lastly is Ok Min-Ji, the leader of the Mythical Beasts. Min-Ji is not only the charismatic lead of the South Korean representative team, but also an upcoming K-pop idol. She was the one that encouraged both Yeong-Suk and Ha-Yun to join the Representative Team Qualifiers. She's sweet for the most part, but can be quite strict when a situation requires more serious attention. Although, this isn't much of a problem since the other two members share the same serious attitude when it comes to their passions. She is based on the lunar hare.

I have a few more ideas about them that I'm not mentioning here since it's a lot, but I'm sure one day I'll elaborate. In the meantime, please do enjoy these silly girls (can you tell I love female MFB OCs).

It was very fun. It was my first time entering artfight, it seemed really interesting. I tried out my laptop to draw cuz it was just the convenient time to experiment. It was very cool to try drawing new characters.

Cringe be damned, cause IDGAF (I do) here is my mfb oc

His name is Kyo Noruki, and tbh I haven't really fleshed out all his lore

What I do know is that

He is/was a part of the Dark Nebula throughout season 1, he was a part of it since episode 1, but I don't know his reason for joining yet, but I don't think he really cares for their goals or anything.

He got ANTI-blader spirit, he isn't evil but he simply sees beys as pieces of metal, he doesn't believe in beys being sentient or having spirits or anything, so all of his battles have a sort of empty vibe, like something's just not right, because he has no passion.

Again, he's not evil or a bad person or anything, he just never had a bond with his bey cause he sees it as a spinning top.

(lil tidbit: I hc that he doesn't call out his beys name during battles, he just calls out the moves, bc again, no bond)

Because of his anti spirit, he doesn't take many beyblade related things seriously, like L-Drago eating peoples souls, because to him, 'it's just a spinning top, it can't be that serious', and with Reiji torturing people, he just doesn't get what the big deal is, like 'yea your bey broke, just fix it later?'.

(bc of this I feel like he wouldn't be mentally affected by Reiji, like he'd lose in a fight w him but he wouldn't really gaf)

I feel like Kyo would REALLY piss Gingka off, because he has NO spirit NO passion and NO fucks to give, and his bey is suffering for it.

His arc would probably be Gingka hitting him with his fist of The bladers Spirit™ by the end of season 1, and Kyo trying to make it up to his bey and bond with it in season 2 (idk where he'd be in season 3, cuz ngl, not the biggest Fury fan).

He has his own morals and stuff, but he is more on the morally-grey side of the spectrum, like he wouldn't kill anyone or anything, but he would harm someone if he had to, it's all a means to an end for him.

I am having troubles with his bey though, because honestly I don't really know the etiquette for making up beyblades, I want him to have some kind of fox because it just fits his vibe? idk, but the only fox bey I know of is Spiral Fox, which is taken, so I'm very open to suggestions, I've been thinking about the names Flash Fox and Phantom Fox tho.

Doji's trusty and uptight assistant, she was orphaned and raised in Dark Nebula's natural blader programme (as opposed to Ziggurat's lab rat initiative).

Her bey is Dark Lepus, the hare constellation.

About the same height as Gingka. Usually dead-pan or scowling.

I don't wanna put too much lore and background within one post, so that's it, folks!

I'm actually really nervous posting this because she's such a big part of my childhood and an extension of myself. I hope you guys find her interesting!!!!

I'm still not in the Beyblade mindset much, but I do still think about the Beyblade OCs a lot so if I do anymore of these, it'll be with the OCs most likely.

I wanted to draw Moros observing his parents blatantly ignoring him, taking a small look into his slow growing resentment of his brother. Wow, child neglect, sure hope this doesn't help contribute to the destruction of the world.
